The price of Final Draft (FD) varies. A new license (so a purchase for someone who does not own an earlier version of the app) is ~$200. This allows the user to install the app on two devices (PC or Mac). For those upgrading from an earlier build, FD costs ~$80, and again, enables two installs. Of course, FD runs lots of promotions on a frequent basis, so the top-line prices are rarely what a user can expect to pay. The company also offers a dramatically cheaper mobile app - I believe I paid $10 - which is actually very good. It’s not as feature rich as its desktop counterparts, but it’s totally adequate for writing and exporting new scripts, or even just for on-the-go editing.
