[What are the top tools for managing hot desking and workspace reservations?](/discussions/what-are-the-top-tools-for-managing-hot-desking-and-workspace-reservations)

Hi everyone!

I want to start a discussion focused on [desk booking tools](https://www.g2.com/categories/desk-booking) that teams are actually using and finding value in. While some tools are lean enterprise, several have features and integrations that make sense for smaller teams or fast-growing companies operating hybrid offices.

These are some of the options in G2’s Desk Booking category:

- [**Zoom Workplace**](https://www.g2.com/products/zoom-workplace/reviews) **:** Familiar collaboration suite with built-in Workspace Reservation. For teams standardizing on one stack, does the calendar-native booking and recurring reservations make rollouts smoother across locations?
- [**OfficeRnD Workplace**](https://www.g2.com/products/officernd-workplace/reviews) **:** Strong policies, neighborhoods, and analytics for hot desking and hoteling. For multi-site setups, is the admin control and SSO/HRIS integration worth it compared with lighter tools?
- [**Skedda**](https://www.g2.com/products/skedda/reviews) **:** Known for ease of use plus Microsoft 365/Google Workspace integrations. For lean IT teams, is Skedda’s simplicity enough to manage large floorplates with minimal overhead?

If you’ve implemented any of these (or others) for hot desking and workspace reservations, I’d love to hear what worked well, what didn’t, and which features, like auto-release/no-show rules, team neighborhoods, or sensor/badge integrations, actually moved the needle.

What moved the needle on adoption (SSO, mobile app, “who’s in” view, floor-plan UX)? And if you switched tools, what was the tipping point?

A few users who switched to Archie mentioned pricing and UX as the main reasons. Per-user pricing or tiered/bundled plans can make it hard to scale, and while most hot desking tools offer customization, it’s sometimes so complex that you can’t set up or change settings without support. Aside from that, most platforms are solid on features and integrations. It’s mostly the pricing and ease of setup/use that make the biggest difference.

[What are the top desk booking platforms for large corporate offices?](/discussions/what-are-the-top-desk-booking-platforms-for-large-corporate-offices)

I want to start a discussion focused on [desk booking apps](https://www.g2.com/categories/desk-booking) that actually work at enterprise scale—think multi-site offices, SSO, policy controls, and robust analytics. While some tools began in SMBs, several have matured with features and integrations that make sense for large corporate environments.

These are some of the top-rated options:

1. [Zoom Workplace](https://www.g2.com/products/zoom-workplace/reviews) — Pairs collaboration tools with Workspace Reservation so enterprises can standardize on one stack. Large orgs highlight calendar-native booking, wayfinding, and broad ecosystem integrations that help global teams adopt quickly.
2. [OfficeRnD Workplace](https://www.g2.com/products/officernd-workplace/reviews) — Built for structured, multi-location deployments with hot desking, hoteling, assigned seating, and deep reporting. Admin-friendly policies, neighborhoods, and Microsoft/Google integrations make it a fit for complex hybrid programs.
3. [Robin](https://www.g2.com/products/robin/reviews) — A workplace experience suite known for intuitive desk/room booking, visitor management, and analytics. Enterprises use their interactive maps and scheduling to orchestrate large floors and drive adoption across departments.
4. [Skedda](https://www.g2.com/products/skedda/reviews) — Praised for ease of use and administration at scale, with interactive floor plans and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace tie-ins. Reviewers comparing it to bigger suites still rate its usability and support highly.
5. [deskbird](https://www.g2.com/products/deskbird/reviews) — Employee-first UX with strong mobile booking and analytics; enterprise testimonials mention thousands of licenses and broad resource booking beyond desks, which helps with scale.

If you’ve rolled out desk booking across multiple offices, I’d love to hear what worked well (SSO, HRIS sync, neighborhoods), what didn’t (change management, check-in policies), and which features were surprisingly impactful for your enterprise.

Which integrations mattered most (HRIS for user sync, calendar, badge/sensor data, Slack/Teams bots)?
