Question on: Highcharts
How does Highcharts license work? How does Highcharts license work?
Highcharts can be purchased as either an Annual subscription where the license renews each year for a fee, or a Perpetual license where a one-time payment grants you the right to use the software forever.
Both the Perpetual license and Annual subscription come with a free year of Highcharts Advantage, our premium support plan that includes access to our support engineers and all major/minor software releases. After the first year, Highcharts Advantage will renew annually until you cancel.
If you're a Perpetual license holder and cancel your enrollment in Highcharts Advantage, you will lose access to our support team and all new software releases, but you can still use the version of the software you had prior to cancelling.
If you purchased an Annual subscription and decide to cancel it, you not only lose access to our support team and new releases. You also lose the right to use any version of the software. Period.
Both the Perpetual license and the Annual subscription offer a variety of license types designed to fit your needs.
Our Internal license covers the use of our software on public/private websites and internal applications. Our SaaS and SaaS+ licenses include the rights granted by the Internal license plus the right to use our software in customer-facing SaaS or Web applications.
If you intend to use Highchart in a product that your customers will download, install and host on their premises, you need an OEM license.
License prices vary based on the number of developer seats, bundle products and customer installations included in the license terms.
