Yes, InetSoft's application lets you combine data from almost any source including SQL Server and Excel. In the designer you drag and drop a field to match on from one table to the column in your spreadsheet and the result is a table that includes both datasets.

It is free to use forever for up to 2 users. Style Intelligence is the all-inclusive BI platform for which there is a free 5-day evaluation version, which can be extended upon request. InetSoft also can provide assistance setting this version up and building a proof-of-concept.
