We wish some feature updates on ClickUp, such as 1. Calculation for formula field column. We see that ClickUp have feature to calculate an entire column, but sadly it is not on formula field column. We want to calculate a formula field of payment, we want to know the total payment from that formula field column. 2. A new custom field that allow us to provide only the month + year. So that we can have a view of list grouped by the month period. For example, a view of work lists on every month. 3. Automation for custom date field with regard to a trigger date. We have a custom date field called by "Finish Date". We want an automation for everytime users change the Status to "Finish", then the "Finish Date" field will automatically set to the trigger date. 4. Second grouping. For example, we want tasks grouped by categories, and then on any category tasks can be grouped by Assignee. 5. Clickup API: please provide endpoint to read histories from any task. i.e. we need to fetch information at what time our employee switch status on a task.
There are a lot of explainers on using different tools for different purposes but I have not yet found a guide that I could use to understand how I can fully integrate all your features to my use case of a software services company. Including managing tasks for my staff as well as managing bugs for projects as well as expectations of deliveries to clients.
Looking for development tracking mechanisms that easily transfer to exportable tables/graphs/timesheets to share both internally and with customers. For example, is there any possible way to take a JIRA board and make it directly into a gantt chart?
